Updates! The Cold Hard Updates!

Life has been crazy this last month.

So I finally finished writing my novel, March of the Necromancer, and I have given it to a few people to read to see how it works. Hopefully all goes well, because after that comes the cleanup phase where I tidy everything up and get it ready to send out to publishers and agents. Fingers crossed that all goes well for the next few months!

The next big thing that happened was my poor daughter broker her arm. She was jumping on a trampoline and landed in the wrong way, breaking a bone by her elbow. At first everyone thought she had just dislocated it since it didn’t appear too serious, but after taking her to the doctors they were able to see that she had actually broken a bone. Ten hours later, after breaking the bone, she was finally taken in for surgery and had three pins placed into her arm. The poor girl is in a soft caste until the doctor is able to pull out the pins and see how she is healing at that point. Again, fingers crossed, since the doctor said that if the bone doesn’t heal properly she would need to have reconstructive surgery to make sure that everything heals correctly.

I have officially started work on my next project, which I am calling The Dark Lord of the Past. I’m hoping for a fast write and that I can finish it this summer. It I can pull that off it would be the fastest book that I’ve written to date. But I am planning on having it be an epic fantasy so chances of me getting it done that quickly are slim. But I am super excited for it! As of right now, it looks like it will be an epic fantasy with steampunk elements as part of it.

All other projects remain the same as before.

Would you look at that, I have now written three blog posts within a month! That’s a new record for me. I’ll have to keep it up. For right now I have decided to write updates in the middle of the month, with the start of each month having me share a little of my writing so that everyone can enjoy and see what I am up to.

See ya next time!
