On Time?

I’m getting back into the groove of writing my middle of the month post, so hopefully I can keep this going!

So for updates, I don’t have too many. The Necromancer’s Deceit is coming along although it is becoming more of a chore. Not sure why but it’s harder to get into the groove than I anticipated. To take a break, I wrote a short story that I plan on sharing with everyone come July 1st. I really enjoyed writing it and once I’ve finished editing it I’ll share it. Hopefully you’ll all enjoy it too. I loved the story so much, that I’ve decided to do a series of short stories that could essentially be read as chapters but are really just separate stories that can be read together as a whole.

I will get back to The Necromancer’s Deceit, but it may be a while since I don’t want to trudge through it all the way. If I’m not excited then I would think that you guys aren’t, so I want to make sure that’s not the case. I have gotten into the second chapter and will try to finish it up this week, but I may delve into my Dark Lord of the Past book as inspiration has been hitting me with world building info. I’m super excited for when I can write that one!

As far as family matters, my daughter (the one who broke her arm a few months ago) has started going to physical therapy and has been doing awesome! Her arm has great movement, and we keep her exercising to push that a little farther everyday. So far she can only bend at the elbow about 90 degrees, and we’re hoping that we can get her to either touch her shoulder, or as close as she can. She still has quite a few appointments before we’re done and lot’s of exercise at home, but we’re excited for her progress.

I have high hopes for this summer and am looking forward to sharing them all with you!
