Welcome 2024!

As part of a new years resolution, I am planning on not using others art (as cool as they may be), and plan on show casing my own here.

I have a lot of coloring pages that I have made that I plan on allowing people to buy from me. So while some I will keep for myself and color, the rest I will sell as it’s a lot for me to do both. This newest piece is a scene/idea from the book that I’m currently working on and am excited about.

New Year, New Plans

Besides my drawings becoming available soon, I have also decided to take some time to not post every month.

It takes quite a bit of time for me to write these things out and to get them published online. I also find myself being quite repetitive too and I don’t want to bog everyone down with updates that don’t turn out to be anything. So for now, I am going to switch to quarterly updates instead of the month by month update.

This post is coming a bit late as my son had his birthday over the weekend, and I was finally able to give him the book that I had written just for him. I went through Barnes and Noble Press, who are awesome for letting people print personal books at reasonable prices, and got one delivered for my son’s birthday. I do want to make this story available to others, however, I need to update the names in the story so it’s not my son’s name out there. Once that’s done I’ll upload links for people to go and check it out. That may not happen until much later in the year as I’ll need to work out a few formatting problems. Got to love self-publishing.

Still Waiting and Working

I’m still waiting on a couple of publishers to get back to me about March of the Necromancer. I’m planning on submitting it to a few more agents/publishers in the hopes of catching somebody’s eye. I also have a few other people reading through it in the hopes of catching any errors or mistakes that I can fix before sending off to anyone else.

The Aether Force Chronicles book is going well. I’ve reached over 45,000 words, which has taken me a while to get to because of how busy I have been these last few months. I’m hoping to finish up the first half of the book by the end of the month and then be able to get to the second half by February 1st. There may be more, but for now I plan on having 2 points of view for the story. There may be more as time goes on, but for now, just the 2.

Patreon

I have Patreon now! Go and check it out here patreon.com/csthurman. All my short stories and other works that I currently have here on my website will continue to remain free, including any additions for Muldrix. I have already decided that Muldrix will continue to remain a free story and so I won’t throw it on my Patreon account as a subscription but rather free posts as I get them completed. If you’re interested to see what I’m working on head on over there to see what I have going on.

Until then, see you all next quarter!
