Bio
Born and raised in the mountains of Utah, Chris is the husband of a beautiful wife (who tolerates his dragon obsessions), and the father of four wonderful children who suck the life out of him in ways that only little vampires can. He has many short stories available on his website and a book that he is looking to publish.
My Story
As a Fantasy author, I learned my love of magic from a young age. Like any kid it started with cartoons. Since I grew up in the 90’s things like “The Page Master,” “The Land Before Time,” and “Fern Gully,” filled my imagination and allowed me to explore the realm of fantasy.
And then came Harry Potter.
I was not one of the fortunate ones who discovered the series before the movies came out, but after “The Sorcerer’s Stone” came to theaters I was hooked. I devoured the books one right after another and I soon found a love for the fantastical that reached beyond my cartoon shows. Eventually books from J. R. R. Tolkien, Piers Anthony, and Margaret Weiss and Tracy Hickman soon found their way to me and I devoured any that could keep my attention. The biggest one that hit me was Eragon, by Christopher Paolini. Around that time I had decided that I too wanted to write a book, and Christopher’s own story of being a young author encouraged me to keep going.
The story I had in mind was too similar to Eragon in my opinion, so instead I began writing and daydreaming other ideas that would lead me to those that I am currently working on today.
Current Works-in-Progress
While I have no novels currently published, I have many of my short stories available here. Please feel free to enjoy them and to share them with others.
March of the Necromancer – done editing and querying it to Agents and Publishers
Muldrix – Online Epic Fantasy. Still in the works, but there are about eight chapters for you to enjoy on the stories page.
Aether Force – My current project. This is an epic fantasy that is currently 43,000 words long. With any luck I can finish the book by this summer.

“Rudar, you disappoint me,” the man said with a deep melodic voice, walking through the gate while brushing the water from his face. “You know that I have more grace than that when landing.”
— King Jhador, from “A Black Throne”
